Frequently Asked Questions

We provide steel coils and strips across multiple material families, including carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized GI, pre‑painted PPGI, tin‑coated steel, alloy steel and silicon steel. Various grades are available for structural, stamping, corrosion‑resistant, packaging and electrical‑equipment applications.

Carbon steel coil: thickness 1.2‑16 mm, width 600‑2000 mm. Stainless steel coil & strip: thickness 0.15‑6.0 mm, width 300‑1500 mm. Coated steel (GI / PPGI / tin plate): thickness 0.12‑3.0 mm, width 600‑1250 mm. Silicon steel coil: thickness 0.23‑0.65 mm, width 800‑1300 mm. Slitting into narrow strips can be done according to customer requirements.

Our coils and strips comply with ASTM, EN, DIN, JIS and GB standards. Common references include ASTM A1011, A240 for stainless, EN 10130, JIS G3302 for galvanized products, as well as CRGO / CRNO silicon‑steel norms. We can produce or source goods matching your specified standard and grade.

Yes, coil slitting service is available for most carbon, stainless, coated and alloy steel coils. We can slit master coils into required narrow strip widths with tight tolerance. Minimum strip width and inner‑outer coil diameter shall be confirmed before order confirmation.

Steel coil refers to wide master‑rolled large‑diameter rolled material, normally used for further processing, slitting or cutting‑to‑length. Steel strip is narrow‑width material, either directly produced or slit from wide coils, widely used for stamping, bending, pipe‑making and manufacturing of small components.

Available surfaces include hot‑rolled black, pickled and oiled, cold‑rolled bright, 2B / BA finish for stainless, galvanized zero‑spangle / regular‑spangle, color‑painted, tin‑coated surfaces. Special surface requirements shall be stated in your inquiry.

What is the MOQ for steel coils and strips of different materials?A:Regular carbon steel coils MOQ starts at 5 metric tons. Stainless steel, galvanized and PPGI coils are normally 3‑5 metric tons. Silicon steel, tin‑coated and special alloy strips require higher minimum lots. Small trial orders can be discussed subject to existing stock.

Mill test certificates (MTC) covering chemical composition and mechanical properties are provided for every batch. Third‑party inspection such as SGS or BV can be arranged before shipment upon buyer’s request.
