Materials for Power Generation & Electrical Equipment

Steel, alloy, silicon steel and conductive copper materials—supplied for thermal power, renewable energy, grid and electrical equipment applications.

Application Environments

Our materials support a wide range of power generation and electrical equipment applications, including thermal and biomass boilers, solar and wind power stations, transformers and reactors, high-voltage transmission and distribution equipment, energy storage systems, power station steel structures, high-temperature and high-pressure piping, electrical conductive components, and pressure-retaining generator housings. They are used across thermal power plants, renewable energy projects, grid substations, industrial captive power stations and overseas EPC power projects where high-temperature strength, electrical performance, structural reliability and corrosion resistance are critical.

Challenge Vs. How We Solve It

Pain Points

Power and electrical equipment involves highly differentiated operating conditions. Boiler components require long-term high-temperature and high-pressure performance, silicon steel requires low core loss, while conductive copper materials require high electrical conductivity. General-purpose materials cannot simply replace these specialized grades.

How We Solve It

Match material categories to their specific service requirements, from pressure vessel steel and heat-resistant alloy tubes to electrical silicon steel, conductive copper materials and high-temperature nickel alloys.

Pain Points

A single power project may require pressure vessel plate, heat-resistant alloy tube, CRGO or CRNO silicon steel, copper strip and wire, structural steel and corrosion-resistant nickel alloys at the same time, making multi-supplier coordination difficult.

How We Solve It

Consolidate multiple material categories into one sourcing program to help buyers coordinate steel plate, tubing, silicon steel, copper materials, structural sections and specialty alloys across the same project.

Pain Points

Power equipment projects may involve ASME, IEC, GB and ASTM requirements. Pressure-bearing boiler materials require UT inspection, silicon steel requires core-loss testing, and copper materials require conductivity testing, making inspection records and technical documentation critical to project acceptance.

How We Solve It

Coordinate material supply with the corresponding inspection requirements, including ultrasonic testing for pressure-bearing steel, electrical performance control for silicon steel and conductivity requirements for copper materials.

Pain Points

Incorrect material selection under high temperature, cyclic loading or electromagnetic operating conditions may result in excessive transformer losses, boiler tube failure or long-term equipment reliability problems.

How We Solve It

Select materials according to the key performance requirement of each application, including creep-resistant alloy tubes for high-temperature steam, low-loss silicon steel for magnetic cores and heat- or corrosion-resistant alloys for demanding power equipment.

Pain Points

Overseas power EPC projects often have fixed delivery milestones while also requiring custom dimensions, special heat treatment and precision cutting or processing. Delayed material preparation can affect equipment fabrication and site installation schedules.

How We Solve It

Support project-specific dimensions and processing requirements such as fixed-length cutting, beveling, heat-treated products, surface preparation and size-specific structural steel supply to better match fabrication and EPC schedules.
