Product Overview

Our 1018 Hexagonal Bar is low carbon hexagonal steel bar manufactured to ASTM A108 standard. It can be produced via hot rolling or cold drawing manufacturing process. Thanks to its low carbon content, this hex bar features excellent ductility, formability and weldability, which makes it easy for bending, stamping and welding operations. Cold drawn 1018 hexagonal bar delivers tight tolerance and bright smooth surface, while hot rolled version provides economical supply. ASTM A108 1018 hex bar is widely used for fasteners, pins, general machinery parts and welding structural components.
