Product Overview
Cold Rolled Non-Oriented Silicon Steel (CRNO) Sheet is a soft magnetic electrical steel widely used as a core material for rotating electrical equipment. Unlike grain-oriented silicon steel, its silicon crystal grains are randomly distributed without a fixed directional arrangement, providing relatively consistent magnetic properties and iron-loss performance in different directions. The material is produced in accordance with GB/T2521.1, IEC 60404, EN 10106, JIS C2552 and ASTM A677 standards.
The product range covers the mainstream 0.5 mm 50WW/B50 series and thinner 0.35 mm 35WW/B35 series, with thickness options from 0.10–0.50 mm. Representative grades include 50WW250, 50WW310, 50WW470, 50WW600, 50WW800, 50WW1000, B50A470, B50A600, 35WW230, 35WW250 and B35A230. Different grades and thicknesses can be selected according to motor efficiency, core design and production requirements.
A uniform inorganic insulating coating is applied to the steel surface to separate individual laminations and help suppress eddy-current losses during operation. The substrate also offers good ductility and punching performance, making CRNO electrical steel suitable for high-speed progressive stamping and automated production of stator and rotor laminations.
Raw coil widths include 1000 mm, 1200 mm and 1250 mm, with longitudinal slitting, fixed-size shearing and stamping blanking available according to customer drawings. Typical applications include industrial motors, servo motors, household appliance motors, new energy vehicle drive motors, generators, energy-storage inductors and power-tool motors. Magnetic test certificates and factory mill reports can be supplied with finished batches.
