Product Overview
Reinforcing Mesh, also known as welded steel reinforcing mesh, is a prefabricated concrete reinforcement product manufactured by welding steel wires or reinforcing bars into a regular mesh pattern. It is designed to improve concrete reinforcement, crack control and structural stability across building, road, tunnel, bridge, hydraulic and industrial construction projects. The supplied product information covers multiple international standards and regional specifications for different markets.
The product supports a broad range of material grades, including Q235B, HRB400, HRB500 and CRB550 under Chinese standards, S500B, B500A and B500B under European standards, ASTM Grade 400 and Grade 500, as well as regional Australian/New Zealand, European and Russian mesh designations. This makes the product suitable for regional tender requirements and third-party inspection specifications.
Standard wire diameters include 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm, with common mesh apertures of 50 × 50 mm, 100 × 100 mm, 150 × 150 mm, 200 × 200 mm and 300 × 300 mm. Reinforcing mesh can be supplied in both flat panels and rolls, with standard panel dimensions of 1.2 × 2.4 m, 2 × 4 m and 2.4 × 6 m, while roll mesh is available in widths from 1 m to 2 m and standard lengths of 50 m or 100 m.
Different surface and corrosion-protection grades are available for different environments, including Plain Black, Class B Hot-Dip Galvanized, Class C Heavy-Duty HDG and Epoxy Coated Reinforcing Mesh. Plain black mesh is suited to dry indoor concrete and short-term construction, while galvanized and epoxy-coated options are available for municipal, freshwater, coastal, hydraulic, chemical and seawater environments.
