Product Overview

Our 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe, also known as 1.4462 (X2CrNiMoN22-5-3), SUS329J3L and GB grade 022Cr22Ni5Mo3N, is the most widely used duplex stainless steel seamless pipe. It is produced by hot piercing and cold drawing process without welding seam, eliminating weld failure risk in harsh corrosive environments. Its unique dual-phase microstructure delivers both high tensile & yield strength and outstanding chloride corrosion resistance. With balanced chromium, nickel, molybdenum and nitrogen content, 2205 performs far better than 304 / 316L in seawater, brine and high-chloride industrial media. It is widely applied for offshore engineering, oil & gas transmission, desalination equipment, chemical processing pipelines and high-chloride industrial piping projects.
