Product Overview

Alloy 59 and Alloy 926 are high-performance nickel-based / super austenitic corrosion resistant alloys.

Alloy 59 (2.4605) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with ultra-low carbon, balanced Cr-Mo composition, free of iron and copper additions. It delivers excellent corrosion resistance in nearly all corrosive media, avoids harmful intermetallic phases, widely used for strong mixed acid and chloride environments.
Alloy 926 (1.4529) is super austenitic stainless nickel alloy, high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen content. It features superior localized corrosion resistance in chloride-rich environments such as seawater, brine, flue gas desulfurization and acid scrubber systems.

Our Alloy 59 & Alloy 926 plates are manufactured via vacuum melting and hot rolling, flat surface, precise dimensional tolerance, consistent metallurgical structure. We provide laser cutting, blanking and custom size processing, supplied with full material test certificates for chemical processing, marine, FGD and waste treatment equipment.

FAQs

Alloy 59 is nickel-base Cr-Mo alloy with very low iron content, suitable for complex mixed acid corrosive conditions. Alloy 926 is super austenitic alloy with high nitrogen, optimized for chloride pitting corrosion like seawater and flue gas desulfurization.

Normally not required. Both grades keep good corrosion resistance in as-welded condition with proper welding procedure control.

PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) measures resistance to chloride pitting. Alloy59 has higher PREN value, better resistance to severe corrosive mixed acid environments.

Yes, Alloy926 is widely used in seawater, brine and chloride-rich environment, outstanding anti-pitting and crevice corrosion performance.

Yes. All plates come with 3.1 Mill Test Certificate, SGS / BV third-party inspection is available upon request.
