Product Overview
Our AR400, AR450 and AR500 abrasion resistant steel plates are quenched and tempered low alloy wear-resistant steel, specially engineered to resist severe abrasive wear and moderate impact loads. These grades are widely adopted in mining, quarrying, cement industry, heavy construction, waste recycling and material handling sectors.
AR400 offers balanced hardness and formability for general wear scenarios. AR450 delivers higher surface hardness for medium abrasion conditions. AR500 provides maximum wear performance for heavy-duty severe abrasive environments.
The plates undergo heat treatment to achieve uniform hardness across the plate surface. Our wear-resistant steel plate can be processed via laser cutting, plasma cutting, bending and welding. Custom cut-to-size blanks and machined parts are available upon request. All products can be supplied with test certificates for traceability, meeting international inspection standards. Common applications include bucket liners, chutes, hoppers, conveyor liners, crusher liners, dump truck beds and wear guards.

The main difference is surface hardness. AR400 is easier for bending and welding for general wear. AR450 is for medium abrasion. AR500 has the highest hardness for heavy abrasive working conditions. Higher hardness brings better wear resistance but reduces bending performance.
Yes. It can be cut by plasma, laser or oxy-fuel cutting. Welding is available, but preheating is recommended for thick plate to avoid cracking.
AR400 ≈ NM400, AR450≈NM450, AR500≈NM500. They are similar in hardness and application, but chemical and mechanical values are not fully identical.
Available thickness from 6mm up to 100mm. Custom cutting service can provide finished parts according to your drawing.
Yes, Mill Test Certificate will be issued together with shipment. SGS third-party inspection can be arranged before loading.
