Product Overview
CRNO Silicon Steel Coil (Cold-Rolled Non-Oriented Silicon Steel Coil) is a non-grain-oriented electrical steel designed for rotating magnetic cores in motors, generators and power conversion equipment. The product range covers classic Chinese WW grades, Baosteel B+A grades, Japanese JIS grades, American ASTM A677 grades and applicable EN standards, providing material options for different motor and generator manufacturing requirements.
The available thickness range includes 0.10, 0.12, 0.15, 0.20 and 0.25mm ultra-thin gauges, as well as 0.30, 0.35, 0.50 and 0.65mm standard gauges. The 0.65mm specification is specifically indicated for large generator applications. Original mother coil width is 1000–1250mm, while precision longitudinal slitting supports strip widths from 5–1240mm with a stated ±0.005mm width tolerance.
CRNO Coil can be supplied with single-side or double-side inorganic insulation coatings, including a RoHS-compliant chrome-free environmental-friendly coating. These coating options are intended to support inter-lamination insulation requirements for motor stacking while also providing rust-protection functionality.
For manufacturers requiring further processing, the material can be supplied with flattening, motor-lamination stamping, laser cutting and stress-relief annealing. Typical applications include industrial motors, household appliance motors, EV drive motors, diesel generators, wind turbines, pumped-storage generators and PCS energy-storage converter cores.
