Product Overview

DR8 Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP) is double-reduced ultra-thin low carbon steel substrate electroplated pure tin on both sides, produced to GB/T2520 and ASTM A623 standards.DR8 belongs to DR temper series, HR30T hardness 74-80, much higher stiffness than single reduced SR grades. It is designed for thin-wall lightweight cans and rigid packaging lids, allowing thinner steel gauge while maintaining structural strength. Tin coating weight 1.1~11.2 g/m², surface finish: Bright, Stone, Silver, Matte. DR8 ETP can be formed by stamping for thin-wall metal containers, compatible with printing and internal protective coating.
