Product Overview
DR8 Tin Free Steel (TFS/ECCS) Sheet is double reduced grade chromium coated steel sheet complying with ASTM A623/A657, JIS G3315, EN 10202. DR8 has higher hardness than DR7, produced via double reduction cold rolling, delivering outstanding stiffness in ultra thin gauges. Low-carbon steel substrate with double-sided chromium and chromium oxide protective coating. It is mainly used for ultra-thin lightweight can ends and rigid thin packaging structures. It can be punched, edge curled and seamed. Surface supports printing and internal organic coating. Chromium coating weight can be customized 50-150mg/m², provides good corrosion resistance and sulfur stain prevention for food packaging
