Product Overview
Grinding Ball is a wear-resistant grinding medium designed for ball mills, semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mills and other mineral and industrial grinding systems. It is manufactured in cast low-chrome, medium-chrome and high-chrome grades, as well as forged steel grades, to meet different impact, abrasion and grinding conditions. The product complies with GB/T 3518-2019, EN 12513, ASTM A532/A532M, GOST 7524-2017, GOST 21769 and ISO 14801.
The grinding ball range covers 10-150 mm in the listed international diameter specifications, while the standard mining range is 20-150 mm, with common mining sizes including 40, 60, 80, 100 and 120 mm. European mining models include GB20, GB30, GB40, GB60, GB80, GB100, GB120 and GB150, while the Russian GOST 7524-2017 series includes МШ20, МШ30, МШ40, МШ60, МШ80, МШ100, МШ120 and МШ150.
Cast grinding balls are available in low-chrome Cr2-3%, medium-chrome Cr6-8% and high-chrome Cr10-13% grades, corresponding to international Cr2, Cr8 and Cr12 classifications and Russian X2, X6 and X12 grades. Forged grinding balls are available in 45# and 65Mn, with Russian CT45 and CT65 designations.
Four wear-performance grades are available: Low Chrome Grade LC, Medium Chrome Grade MC, High Chrome Grade HC and Forged Grade. Their hardness ranges from HRC40-48 to HRC58-65, allowing selection for cement grinding, small-scale mineral processing, large metal mines and high-impact SAG mill applications. The product is designed for stable hardness, low breakage and reduced grinding-media consumption.
