Product Overview
Hastelloy series alloy plate is nickel-molybdenum & nickel-chromium-molybdenum corrosion resistant superalloy, covering grades Hastelloy B2, C22, C276, G30 and Hastelloy X.
Hastelloy B2 is nickel-molybdenum alloy, mainly resistant to reducing media like hydrochloric acid. C276 is the most widely used grade, resists mixed oxidizing/reducing corrosive media. C22 features balanced Cr-Mo-W composition for better localized corrosion resistance. Hastelloy G30 performs well in strong nitric acid mixed environments. Hastelloy X is nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy, designed for high-temperature oxidation and stress environments.
Our Hastelloy alloy sheets/plates are manufactured with strict melting and hot rolling process, uniform microstructure, flat surface, precise dimensional tolerance. Widely applied in chemical processing, petrochemical, flue gas desulfurization, marine engineering, pharmaceutical and waste treatment equipment. We can provide cutting, surface finishing and custom size service to meet project requirements.

FAQs
Hastelloy C22 has higher chromium content than C276, providing better resistance to localized corrosion like pitting and crevice corrosion in oxidizing environments. C276 is more versatile for mixed reducing + oxidizing corrosive media and is the most popular grade.
No. Hastelloy B2 (Ni-Mo alloy) is designed for reducing acid. It has poor corrosion resistance in oxidizing acids such as nitric acid, choose C-series Hastelloy for oxidizing media.
Hastelloy X is high-temperature superalloy, not mainly for wet acid corrosion. It is widely used for furnace components, gas turbine combustors, high-temperature ducting under thermal oxidation and high stress.
Normally, Hastelloy B2, C22, C276, G30, X can be welded without post-weld heat treatment, but welding procedure must be controlled to avoid intergranular precipitation.
Yes. All our Hastelloy alloy plates come with 3.1 Mill Test Certificate to verify chemical composition and mechanical properties, meeting ASTM standards.
