Product Overview
Pure Nickel series plate includes Nickel 200 and Nickel 201. Nickel 200 is commercially pure wrought nickel with low carbon content, good mechanical properties at room temperature. Nickel 201 is low carbon version of Nickel 200, specially designed for high-temperature alkaline service, effectively prevents intergranular embrittlement at elevated temperature.
Our pure nickel sheets and plates are produced by vacuum melting and hot rolling process, clean surface, tight dimensional tolerance, uniform grain structure. Widely used in caustic soda manufacturing equipment, food processing vessel, electronic components, vacuum devices, battery industry and alkaline chemical reactors. Custom cutting and machining services available to satisfy various project specifications.

FAQs
The main difference is carbon content. Nickel 201 is low-carbon variant of Nickel200. Nickel 201 prevents intergranular corrosion and embrittlement when working in hot caustic alkali above 315℃. Nickel200 is suitable for room or low temperature service.
Yes, Nickel 200 & 201 have outstanding resistance to sodium hydroxide and other alkaline media, it is the preferred material for caustic soda manufacturing equipment.
Yes. Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 have good weldability. Proper filler metal is required during welding to maintain corrosion resistance.
Yes. All pure nickel plates are supplied with 3.1 Mill Test Certificate, third-party inspection SGS/BV can be arranged as requested.
