Product Overview
SA387 Gr.11, Gr.12, Gr.22, Gr.91 Alloy Boiler Steel Plate is chromium-molybdenum alloy pressure vessel steel manufactured under ASME SA387 / ASTM A387 standard, specifically designed for high-temperature and high-pressure service environments. This series delivers superior creep resistance, high-temperature strength and oxidation stability compared with carbon boiler steel, making it the preferred material for elevated-temperature pressure equipment.
We supply full size range from 6mm to 150mm thickness, width 1500mm to 4000mm, length 3000mm to 12000mm. All plates are delivered in normalized and tempered (N+T) or quenched and tempered (Q+T) condition as specified. Custom cutting, beveling and edge preparation services are available according to fabrication drawings. Every batch is accompanied by EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 Mill Test Certificate. HIC and SSC resistant versions with controlled low S and P can be supplied for sour service applications. Widely used for petroleum refinery reactors, hydrocracking vessels, power plant superheater headers and high-temperature heat exchangers.

They differ in chromium and molybdenum content. Gr.11 is 1.25Cr-0.5Mo for moderate temperature; Gr.22 is 2.25Cr-1Mo for higher temperature refinery service; Gr.91 is 9Cr-1Mo-V modified steel for ultra-supercritical power plant applications with the highest creep strength.
Standard supply is normalized and tempered (N+T). Gr.91 requires normalized and tempered or quenched and tempered. Class 1 and Class 2 both available.
Yes. We supply HIC/SSC resistant version with controlled S ≤ 0.003%, P ≤ 0.015%, and full HIC test per NACE TM0284 and SSC test per NACE TM0177.
Up to 150mm for heavy-wall reactor fabrication. Through-thickness ultrasonic testing per ASME SA578 is available.
EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 Mill Test Certificate, ISO, SGS, BV inspection. Additional HIC, SSC, Charpy impact and ultrasonic test reports available on request.
