Product Overview

316L Stainless Steel Flat Bar (SUS316L / 1.4404 / X2CrNiMo17-12-3 / 022Cr17Ni12Mo2) is produced in compliance with GB/T 1220 standard. It is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel alloyed with molybdenum, greatly improving its resistance to pitting corrosion in chloride environments compared with 304 grade.

Our 316L stainless flat bar can be supplied in hot rolled pickled or bright finished surface, with flexible width & thickness options. Thanks to low carbon content, this grade avoids carbide precipitation during welding, maintaining full corrosion resistance on welded joints.

Typical applications include marine facilities, saltwater environment components, pharmaceutical equipment, chemical processing machinery, seawater desalination parts and food processing equipment exposed to salt.
