Product Overview
T5 Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP) coil is cold rolled low-carbon steel electroplated with pure tin layer, it is the highest hardness grade of conventional T-series tinplate. T5 features high tensile and yield strength, low elongation, ideal for rigid packaging, crown caps and components that require strong stiffness and shape retention, not suitable for deep drawing.
Tin coating options: #25, #50, #75, #100 and differential tin coating. Surface treatment includes passivation, DOS oil, butyl alcohol oil film and food-grade epoxy lacquer. Thickness range 0.14–0.50mm, coil width 700–1050mm, slitting available.
Common applications: bottle crown caps, rigid metal cans, printed packaging containers. MTC certificate available.
