Product Overview

U Channel is a European standard hot-rolled structural channel steel manufactured according to EN standards. It adopts the European UPN dimension system with a flat inner flange design, which is technically different from American C Channel with tapered inner flanges. Due to different profile standards, U Channel and American C Channel cannot be directly substituted.

Produced according to EN 10034-2019 European standard and compatible with ISO 657-2017 international inspection requirements, European UPN U Channel is designed for European-specification engineering projects requiring standardized structural sections and reliable dimensional consistency.

The product range covers UPN80 to UPN500, including commonly used sizes such as UPN100, UPN120, UPN140, UPN160, UPN200, UPN220, UPN260, UPN300, UPN350, UPN400 and UPN450. Multiple steel grades are available, including S235JR, S275JR, S355JR, S355NL for European projects, Q235B/Q355B for Chinese-standard requirements and SS400/SM490B for Asia-Pacific procurement.

U Channel supports standard lengths of 6m, 9m and 12m, with customized lengths from 3m to 18m. Surface treatments including hot-dip galvanizing, anti-corrosion coating and other finishing options are available, together with cutting, drilling, welding and assembly services for structural fabrication requirements.
