Product Overview
A36 hot rolled I-Beam is the most popular American standard carbon structural steel I-beam, with equivalent grades Q235B (GB), S235JR (EN) and SS400 (JIS). It is produced according to ASTM A6, GB/T706, EN10025 and JIS G3192 specifications.
The I-shaped cross-section delivers strong bending resistance for structural supports. A36 I-beam features balanced plasticity, good formability and excellent weldability. It can be easily processed by cutting, drilling and welding without complicated heat treatment.
This grade is widely adopted for US standard construction projects, general building frames, support brackets, platform structures and non-heavy load civil engineering. We supply full size range hot rolled A36 I-Beam, surface available in black, shot blasted or pickled. Custom cut length service is supported.
