Product Overview

AH36, DH36, EH36 and FH36 are widely used high strength marine steel plates complying with GB/T712 and ASTM A131 standards. This series is commonly adopted for primary load-bearing components of ocean-going vessels, bulk carriers, container ships, offshore platform structural parts and marine engineering equipment.

The main distinction among these four grades lies in low-temperature impact test temperature. AH36 achieves impact requirement at 0℃, DH36 at -20℃, EH36 at -40℃ and FH36 at -60℃. All grades feature minimum yield strength of 355MPa, with tensile strength ranging from 490~630MPa.

Our AH36/DH36/EH36/FH36 marine steel plates can be customized in cutting, flattening and edge trimming. Strict rolling and inspection control ensures consistent plate quality.

FAQs

The difference is the Charpy impact test temperature. AH36 tested at 0℃, DH36 at -20℃, EH36 at -40℃ and FH36 at -60℃. All share the same yield strength, select grade according to vessel operating sea temperature.

Yes. AH36/DH36/EH36/FH36 plates are widely used for offshore platform modules. For critical offshore components, confirm impact requirement and classification documents before ordering.

We supply official mill test certificates and material data for classification society review. The formal survey certificate can be arranged per your project requirements.

Standard sizes: 18–28 working days. Orders with custom cutting or special survey documents need extra production time, will confirm on formal inquiry.

Yes, AH36 series is designed for shipyard welding. Welding preheating is required for thick plates, follow welding procedure specification based on plate thickness.
