Product Overview
Prepainted Steel Coil – PPGI/PPGL is a color coated steel material produced by continuously applying an organic paint coating onto a galvanized (GI) or galvalume (GL) steel substrate. PPGI uses hot-dip galvanized steel, while PPGL uses a 55% Al-Zn galvalume substrate for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Available substrate grades include DX51D+Z to DX56D+Z for PPGI and DX51D+AZ to DX56D+AZ for PPGL. The total thickness range is 0.12–1.5mm, with 0.17–1.5mm as the mainstream production range, while standard widths include 914, 1000, 1219 and 1250mm.
The product is available with PE, SMP, HDP and PVDF coating systems to suit different weathering and environmental requirements. Front coating thickness is 18–25 μm and back coating thickness is 5–10 μm, with thicker customized coatings available.
A full RAL1000–RAL9018 color range is available, together with special finishes such as metallic, pearl gloss, camouflage, wood-grain and marble-pattern coatings. The coils can also be slit, cut to length or roll formed for downstream fabrication, making them suitable for roofing, wall cladding, facades, photovoltaic projects, containers and industrial applications.
