Product Overview
Q355B hot rolled carbon steel plate is low alloy high strength structural steel manufactured according to GB/T1591 standard. It replaces the former Q345B grade and delivers improved yield strength with controlled impurity limits. This grade is widely cross-referenced with EN S355JR, ASTM A572 Gr50, JIS SS400 and GOST St52-3 for international project tendering.
Our Q355B plate can be customized in thickness, width and length. Available processing services include flame cutting, plasma cutting, bending, drilling and shot blasting upon request. Typical applications cover bridge structures, high-rise steel frames, heavy machinery bases, mining equipment and large load-bearing support brackets. Every batch is supplied with Mill Test Certificate EN10204 3.1, third-party inspection like SGS and BV is supported. We serve bulk overseas engineering orders and mixed container shipments for international steel traders.

FAQs
Q355B has similar mechanical properties to S355JR, but the standards are not fully identical. We recommend submitting our EN10204 3.1 MTC to your project engineer for formal approval before substitution for critical load-bearing structures.
Factory self-inspection is done on every batch. SGS or BV third-party witness inspection at our warehouse is available, full material test report will be issued for customs and project audit.
Yes, mixed loading of multiple steel grades in one container is supported, which helps clients save procurement cost and optimize container space utilization.
We follow international cutting dimensional tolerance standards. If your project requires tight special tolerance, please specify requirements within your purchase contract.
Mill Test Certificate EN10204 3.1, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading. SGS/BV inspection certificates can be attached upon request.
Q355B only meets Charpy impact test at +20℃. For cold environment projects, Q355C or Q355D grade with lower temperature impact resistance is recommended.
Standard lead time 7–15 working days after receiving official PO. Lead time will be confirmed formally according to quantity and processing requirements.
