Product Overview
Q460 hot rolled high tensile structural steel plate is manufactured to GB/T1591 standard, belonging to high strength low alloy steel series. It delivers outstanding yield and tensile strength, widely used for heavy load components where weight reduction and structural safety are core requirements.
This grade can be cross-referenced with European S460NL, ASTM A572 Gr60 and JIS SS490 for international engineering bidding. Our Q460 plate supports custom cut-to-size, bending, drilling and surface shot blasting services.
Common applications include crane components, heavy machinery frames, mining equipment and large load-bearing supports. Each batch comes with EN10204 3.1 mill test certificate, third-party SGS/BV inspection can be arranged before loading. We support bulk orders and mixed container shipment for global steel traders and engineering contractors.

Q460 has comparable tensile and yield strength to S460NL, but chemical composition and impact test requirements are not fully identical. For critical load-bearing components, please submit our material certificate to your local engineer for approval before substitution.
Full MTC EN10204 3.1 will be provided for each batch. We support third-party SGS/BV on-site witness inspection at our factory before loading, usable for customs clearance and project acceptance.
Yes, mixed container loading with Q235B, Q275B, Q355B plates is acceptable, helping you optimize container space and reduce ocean freight cost.
We follow international cutting tolerance standards. If your project requires tighter dimensional tolerance, you can specify requirements in purchase contract.
Standard Q460 does not come with low-temperature impact test by default. If your project operates in cold climate, we can supply Q460D grade with -20℃ impact property.
Standard lead time is 10-18 working days. Final schedule will be confirmed once we receive your official PO and cutting list.
We provide cutting, bending, drilling and grooving services. Complex fabrication can be quoted separately based on your technical drawings.
