Product Overview
Q550 hot rolled high strength low alloy structural steel plate is produced under GB/T1591 standard. It features ultra-high yield strength, which helps reduce the overall weight of heavy-load structures while maintaining high safety margin.
This grade can be cross-referenced with European S550QL and ASTM A572 Gr65 for international project bidding. Our Q550 steel plate supports custom cut-to-size, flattening, bending, drilling and shot blasting surface treatment.
Typical applications include mining supports, mobile crane booms, heavy transport vehicle frames and large engineering load-bearing components. Each shipment is supplied with EN10204 3.1 mill test certificate. Third-party inspection by SGS or BV can be arranged before loading. Mixed container shipment with other structural steel plates is available for global engineering contractors and steel traders.

For standard sizes, lead time is about 15–25 working days. For non-standard thickness or customized cutting orders, we will confirm exact schedule after your official inquiry.
Absolutely. SGS, BV or other appointed third-party inspectors are welcome to visit our warehouse to check dimension, surface quality and material certificates before loading.
We offer plasma/flame cutting service according to your drawings. Cutting waste cost will be clearly quoted separately in your formal quotation before order confirmation.
Store in dry and ventilated warehouse to avoid long-term rain corrosion. If plates are kept outdoors for a long time, anti-rust priming surface option is recommended when placing order.
