Product Overview
SS33, SS37, SS40, SS50 and SS80 are full-series high-strength structural galvalume steel sheets (Aluzinc GL steel) manufactured in accordance with ASTM A792 standard. Different from commercial forming grades, these SS structural grades are specially engineered for load-bearing, framing and structural support applications, featuring graded yield strength from low structural to ultra-high tensile performance.
SS33 and SS37 are low-medium strength grades for light structural framing; SS40 is universal medium-high strength grade with balanced strength and processability, the most widely used structural GL grade; SS50 and SS80 are ultra-high strength grades, designed for heavy-load, high-rigidity structural components that require strong wind resistance and pressure resistance. All grades adopt premium 55% aluminum-zinc-silicon alloy hot-dip coating, featuring self-healing anti-rust performance, excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, far superior to traditional hot-dip galvanized steel.
The product supports full-range AZ coating weights including AZ50, AZ70, AZ100 and AZ150, with SFP oiled finish and AFP anti-fingerprint surface optional. Thickness ranges from 0.25mm to 2.5mm, width 700mm–1250mm, available in steel coil and custom cut flat sheet. Widely applied in solar mounting brackets, building purlins, warehouse structural frames, equipment support bases, outdoor guardrails, container auxiliary structures and industrial load-bearing profiles.

FAQs
Choose SS33/SS37 for simple light-load indoor structures; SS40 is the best choice for conventional outdoor solar and building frames; select SS50/SS80 for heavy-load, high-wind and harsh environment structural projects to ensure structural stability.
SS series galvalume steel has higher yield strength and structural rigidity, specially optimized for load-bearing design. It can reduce steel usage and improve structural safety, while CS grades only focus on forming performance without structural load capacity.
AZ100 and AZ150 are recommended for long-term outdoor use. AZ150 is more suitable for coastal high-salt and humid corrosive environments. AZ50/AZ70 can be used for indoor dry structural parts to control procurement cost.
SS33/SS37/SS40 have good bending performance for conventional roll forming and profiling. SS50/SS80 ultra-high strength grades are suitable for simple bending only; complex stamping processing is not recommended. We provide professional processing guidance.
Yes, mixed loading of SS33, SS37, SS40, SS50, SS80 with different AZ coatings and sizes is acceptable. We implement independent marking and classified packing to avoid on-site confusion.
We provide official EN10204 3.1 MTC material test certificates fully compliant with ASTM A792. SGS/BV third-party inspection reports can be provided to meet global engineering bidding and project acceptance requirements.
