Steel Pipe/Tube

Plates, Coils And Strips For Construction, Fabrication And Industrial Manufacturing

Steel Pipe & Tube

This production workflow covers carbon steel pipe, alloy steel pipe, stainless steel pipe, including two mainstream product categories: seamless steel pipe and welded steel pipe. Adopting professional piercing, rolling, welding and finishing processes, we produce various specification tubular products with high pressure resistance and structural stability. These steel pipes are widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, construction, pipeline transportation and mechanical engineering fields for global projects.

1. Raw Material Preparation & Inspection

High-quality carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel round billets or steel strips are selected as raw materials. Strict chemical composition and physical performance inspections are implemented to ensure the base materials meet the production standards for seamless pipes and welded pipes of different grades.

2. Differentiated Forming Processing (Seamless / Welded)

For seamless steel pipe: Solid round steel billets are heated at high temperature and processed by piercing mill to form hollow tubular blanks, then subjected to multi-pass rolling and sizing to achieve precise pipe diameter and wall thickness. For welded steel pipe: Carbon, alloy and stainless steel strips are rolled into tubular shapes by continuous forming units, with seams welded by high-frequency welding or argon arc welding to form tubular blanks.

3. Heat Treatment

All formed carbon steel pipe, alloy steel pipe and stainless steel pipe blanks undergo standardized heat treatment processes such as normalizing, quenching and tempering. This step eliminates internal welding stress and rolling stress, optimizes mechanical properties, and improves the toughness and pressure resistance of finished steel pipes.

4. Sizing, Straightening & Cutting

The heat-treated steel pipes are precisely sized and caliber-calibrated to ensure uniform outer diameter and wall thickness. Professional straightening equipment corrects pipe body bending, and pipes are cut to customized fixed lengths according to customer order requirements.

5. Surface Treatment & Finishing

Targeted surface treatments are carried out for different steel pipe types. Carbon steel and alloy steel pipes undergo rust removal, polishing or anti-corrosion coating; stainless steel pipes are processed with pickling, passivation and bright finishing to ensure smooth, anti-rust and durable pipe surface.

6. Precision Testing & Quality Inspection

All finished products undergo strict quality tests, including hydraulic pressure test, ultrasonic flaw detection, dimensional tolerance inspection and mechanical property test. Internal and surface defects of seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes are fully checked to ensure compliance with international industry standards.

7. Marking & Packaging

Qualified carbon steel pipes, alloy steel pipes and stainless steel pipes are marked with grade, specification, standard and batch information. Professional waterproof and shockproof packaging is adopted to ensure safe long-distance transportation and global delivery.
