ASTM A36, A1011 and A1018 carbon steel strip are mainstream carbon steel grades widely adopted in USA, Canada and North America engineering industry. This series strip is produced by hot rolling or cold rolling mother coil, then precision slitting into customized width strips.
ASTM A36 is classic general structural carbon steel, widely used for building supports, frames and general metal fabrication; ASTM A1011 covers hot rolled carbon steel strip, good for stamping and forming; ASTM A1018 hot rolled strip features stable strength for pipe making and heavy mechanical parts. These ASTM grades are commonly requested by North American project buyers.
