Product Overview
Cast Ball is chromium-alloy cast grinding media produced through sand casting or metal mold casting, followed by deburring, annealing, quenching and tempering, and anti-rust spray treatment. It is designed for grinding applications across cement, building materials, mineral processing and chemical industries. The product range covers 10-150 mm, with 40, 60, 80, 100 and 120 mm being common mining sizes.
The chromium-alloy range includes Low Chrome Cr2-3%, Medium Chrome Cr6-8%, High Chrome Cr10-13% and Super High Chrome Cr15%+. Corresponding international and Russian grades include GB Cr2/Cr8/Cr12 and GOST X2/X6/X12. Two complete model series are available: the European-standard CB series and Russian GOST ЛШ series.
Four performance grades are available for different cost and operating requirements. LC Grade HRC40-48 is an economical option for cement raw material, clinker and limestone grinding. MC Grade HRC48-56 provides balanced cost-performance for small and medium gold mines and non-metallic mineral processing. HC Grade HRC58-66 is designed for large-scale non-ferrous metal mining and offers a service life stated as up to three times that of low-chrome products. SHC Grade uses Cr content above 15% for highly corrosive ore slurry and wet-grinding applications.
Cast Balls are suitable for both dry grinding and corrosive wet-grinding conditions. Applications include cement raw meal, clinker and limestone grinding; kaolin, calcium carbonate, quartz sand and talcum powder processing; gold and iron ore beneficiation; copper, nickel and rare-earth ore flotation; and wet-grinding equipment for chemical, coating and powder-material industries. Packaging includes 1-ton jumbo bags for sea bulk shipment and 50 kg woven bags for low-chrome cast balls.
