Product Overview
Galvanized steel checkered steel plate is a hot-rolled or cold-formed steel sheet with raised diamond pattern on the surface, also known as anti-slip pattern steel sheet. The embossed pattern is designed to increase friction and reduce slipping risk under pedestrian traffic, wheeled carts and light equipment movement. Combined with hot-dip galvanized coating, this product is widely used for industrial flooring, stair treads, platforms, walkways, ramps, warehouse floors and maintenance corridors.
The anti-slip pattern is formed by embossing or hot rolling, creating uniform raised ribs that maintain stable grip even under oily, wet or dusty conditions. Galvanized coating protects the steel substrate from rust and corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor and semi-outdoor applications where moisture, humidity and atmospheric exposure exist. Compared with plain steel plate, checkered plate improves operational safety and is especially suitable for factories, logistics centers, power plants, workshops and commercial building stair systems.
Available thicknesses generally range from 1.5mm to 6.0mm, with widths and lengths customizable according to project requirements. Standard sheet sizes can be supplied as fixed length sheets or cut-to-size plates. The product can be processed by cutting, drilling, bending and welding according to construction drawings. Mill Test Certificate and surface condition inspection are provided before shipment.

FAQs
It is mainly used for anti-slip flooring, stair treads, platforms, walkways, ramps, warehouse floors and industrial workshop areas where pedestrian safety and light load capacity are required.
Yes. The raised diamond pattern increases friction, while the galvanized coating improves corrosion resistance. It is suitable for outdoor stairs, platforms and semi-outdoor walkways.
Yes. We can cut the plate to required width and length according to your construction drawings or project list.
For normal pedestrian stairs, 2.5mm to 4.0mm is commonly used. For heavy traffic or equipment areas, thicker plates such as 4.5mm to 6.0mm are recommended.
It can be used directly with galvanized finish. If better appearance or stronger corrosion protection is needed, powder coating or painting can be applied after fabrication.
We provide Mill Test Certificate, packing list, commercial invoice and shipping documents. Third-party inspection before shipment can be arranged upon request.
