Q235B Hot Rolled Steel Coil is the most popular mild carbon structural hot rolled steel following Chinese GB/T709 standard. It is the basic carbon steel grade widely adopted in domestic and overseas engineering procurement. Manufactured by continuous high-temperature hot rolling process, Q235B coil owns uniform internal grain structure and reliable mechanical property.
This grade features low carbon content, outstanding formability and welding performance, which can meet most conventional fabrication requirements. Q235B has room temperature impact test requirement, better toughness compared with Q235A. It is extensively applied in steel building frames, support brackets, machinery bases, pipe blanks, container accessories, guardrails and various general metal fabrication parts.
